SVET performs OSA 100
Last Wednesday The Optical Society celebrated it’s 100th anniversary, “marking a century of powering optics and photonics”. Hosted in Rochester, New York the event featured a variety of entertainment including Svet the Violinist.

Svet performs in Atlanta for “Stand Up To Cancer”
On Wednesday August 24, Svet performed a special show in Atlanta to benefit Stand Up To Cancer. The fundraising event, presented by Peek-Life was broadcast live from Ten Atlanta, one of the cities premiere spots for food, music, culture and entertainment.
Stand Up To Cancer is one of the first charities Svet has chosen to work with in his efforts to raise cancer awareness and bring change to the millions of people affected by the disease.

Svet performed multiple sets throughout the night which featured several new tracks including his covers of “Cheap Thrills” by Sia and “Let It Be” by The Beatles. As the evening concluded, guests enjoyed special meet-and-greets with Svet as well as complimentary drinks provided by Peek-Life.

Svet performs at the Microsoft Worldwide Partners Conference
On Monday July 11th Svet had the honor of performing at the Microsoft Worldwide Partners Conference. The event was held in Toronto, Canada at the Polson Pier where attendees enjoyed music and mural coloring while sampling Ontario’s finest craft breweries.
The Microsoft Worldwide Partners Conference (WPC) is the largest event for Microsoft partners, bringing together over 15,000 people from over 100 countries for a week filled with networking and learning. The conference focuses on improving partnerships and providing in-depth business-building strategies.
The event featured a variety of talents including Svet the Violinist, Award-Winning beat boxer Scott Jackson, master turntabalist DJ Docta KOTD, Yan Markson and the Cara Matthew band.

Art of Seduction (Dubstep Violin) SVET
Closing the year of 2014, Svet recorded and filmed his new track called “Art of Seduction”. The 4 minutes video featured celebrity dancers and artists. The art of seduction track emphasizes the new sound of music with a combination of a classical instrument and up-beat high energy music.
The entire video was directed by Svet himself, videography & editing was done by Iconic Films.
SVET the Violinist: Corporate & Private Event Performances
Over the past several weeks SVET has performed at a variety of events including an opening feature for The Black Keys at the Adobe MAX BASH in Los Angeles, a gala party by Dixon Schwabl with the United Way of Greater Rochester and a Fashion show benefitting the Wilmot Cancer Center located in Upstate New York.
Svet the Violinist had the honor of opening up the nights festivities in Los Angeles at the 2013 ADOBE MAX BASH before Grammy winners The Black Keys took the stage.
“The Black Keys winner of three Grammy’s at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards: “Best Rock Performance,” “Best Rock Song” and “Best Rock Album” for their recent album El Camino. But they’re no strangers to the Grammy stage, having won three Grammy Awards for their breakout album, Brothers, in 2010.”
After several shows on the West Coast, SVET traveled back to New York to perform at a number of private events including the Dado Boutique Fashion Show. Dado Boutique, in collaboration with a number of businesses and sponsors throughout the community hosted the annual Fashion show with proceeds benefiting the Wilmot Cancer Center.
The event was held to benefit the Wilmot Cancer Center in order to raise awareness and support for the facility.
In addition to being the featured entertainer at several weddings this month, SVET also performed at this year’s United Way of Greater Rochester WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP COUNCIL corporate event, hosted by Dixon Schwabl.

To bring in the New Year, Svet performed at Maxim Magazine’s New Years Eve Party on Monday night, held at the luxurious Copia NYC. The Black and White Affair, hosted in collaboration with Kahlua Midnight is an annual VIP open bar event, complete with a red carpet entrance and elegant cocktail attire theme.
“Founded in 1995 Maxim is an international men’s magazine originating from the United Kingdom and is known for its revealing pictorials featuring popular actresses, singers, and female models.”
The Maxim Midnight NYE 2013 party featured the years hottest models to grace the pages of Maxim Magazine as well as guest DJ’s Rick Wonder and DJ Joe Ferdico in addition to a special live performance by SVET.
