Last Wednesday The Optical Society celebrated it’s 100th anniversary, “marking a century of powering optics and photonics”. Hosted in Rochester, New York the event featured a variety of entertainment including Svet the Violinist.

On Wednesday August 24, Svet performed a special show in Atlanta to benefit Stand Up To Cancer. The fundraising event, presented by Peek-Life was broadcast live from Ten Atlanta, one of the cities premiere spots for food, music, culture and entertainment.
Stand Up To Cancer is one of the first charities Svet has chosen to work with in his efforts to raise cancer awareness and bring change to the millions of people affected by the disease.

Svet performed multiple sets throughout the night which featured several new tracks including his covers of “Cheap Thrills” by Sia and “Let It Be” by The Beatles. As the evening concluded, guests enjoyed special meet-and-greets with Svet as well as complimentary drinks provided by Peek-Life.

On February 21st, 2016 SVET performed for the Bridal Fantasy Expo in Fredrick, Maryland. Once Upon a Time Events put on this show that was designed for expecting brides to come together in one place and experience all their wedding needs. SVET performed 2 sets to show the experience of his performance as it would be in a wedding setting. SVET’s first set was a mix of some slower ballads to give people ideas of a first dance song accompanied by his violin. His second set was a high energy set that displayed SVET’s ability to get people dancing on the dance floor.
There were over 140 brides that registered for the event. This event also displayed a lot of vendors from the Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia area. These included limo, dress services, photographers and videographers, DJ’s, lighting and design and catering as well.

On December 2nd, 2015 Quicken Loans held their 30th Anniversary Celebration at the legendary Fox Theater in Detroit, Michigan.
Quicken Loans is the nation’s largest online retail mortgage lender and the second largest retail mortgage lender in the U.S. It is also the nation’s leading Veteran Affairs (AV) lender and the largest FHA lender.
Guest hosts Jay Farner (President, CMO/Quicken Loans) and Daniel ‘Dan’ Gilbert (Chairman, Founder/Quicken Loans) kicked off the day to 3 meetings of over 4000 people each.
The main performer for the event was America’s Got Talent Hip-Hop Violinist SVET. SVET performed a mixture of todays top 40’s hits ( Justin Bieber, Sorry | Drake, Hotline Bling | The Weeknd, Can’t Feel My Face ) and some of the best oldies ( Journey, Don’t Stop Believing ) getting each group meeting of 4000 dancing, taking photos and videos and making sure they were having a great time . SVET was accompanied by Toledo’s Premier DJ A.K. (Adis Kurtovic).
On Feb 27th, 2015 Svet performed live for the 6th annual Family Reunion Conference at the Cleveland Convention Center. The event was hosted by Daniel Gilbert who is mostly know as the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Quicken Loans.
Svet performed live for a total of 45 minutes accompanied by his new Astronaut themed DJ. The event hosed 404 attendees, 119 companies from 46 cities and 18 states.
